Description
Now that is some view… It has to take something special to put a sunset in the back seat, as far as nature’s beauty goes. And Loch Tummel, along with those mountains in the distance and the clear reflection in the waters, delivers.
Although the foreground looks a bit too dark for my liking (kind of like someone was rubbing charcoal all over the picture, personally), I certainly cannot fault the rest of the picture, as the clarity and scenery is really something else. Also, in a weird kind of way, the way you shot the lake almost gives the impression of floating above the clouds, without actually leaving the land. It’s certainly interesting to say the least.
Last but not least, the sunset adds a warm, vibrant feeling throughout the picture. Given that the photo does look like it was shot darker than usual, maybe that was the intention to give the viewer a ray of hope in times of darkness. I’ve no idea, and I’m not going to worry about it. What does matter is that this is a pretty lovely photo of a great Scottish attraction. Keep it up.
